4 Upcoming Books in 2020

I have received these books to read for free in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.
  1. Children Against Hitler by Monica Porter

I was a history major in college, so I know this isn’t everybody’s type of book, but I do suggest reading it! The stories of the children come alive on the page, and you’ll never guess all the things that happen to them! These unsung heroes of Nazi Germany deserve all the praise and honor! Monica Porter beautifully shows what happened from a younger generation’s point of view. I would highly recommend that you check this book out and experience a world that we could never imagine living in!

2. More Than Maybe by Erin Hahn

This is such a cute book! I love this so much! Vada and Luke are the cutest, and I need more of them! This book is a beautiful story about these two teens who want to follow their dreams but also find love. This book felt a little like Fangirl and Radio Silence but so different! Erin Hahn did a fantastic job with this book! I love getting two POVs and getting so many details. The complexity of the characters really made me want to continue reading, as well. If you want an easy, cute, fun book to be ready, I would suggest this book!

3. Unafraid by Donna K. Maltese

This devotional is so cute! It is filled with a ton of really great reminder of God’s love for us! The pages are so adorable! I highly recommend this book if you are the kind of person that needs these reminders of God’s love and that he will always have our back! While I did really love this book, I felt like some of the passages were kind of blanket statements, and others felt like it was a little bit of a stretch.

4. Saints and Scoundrels in the Story of Jesus by Nancy Guthrie

This is an excellent study of people in the bible. I loved reading about people in seeing that I am not the only person struggling. I loved seeing God work all over scripture and in the lives of these people. This is an excellent devotional for everyone, especially when you feel like your not good enough. I love this book and will, for sure, reread the book!
