20 QUESTIONS BOOK TAG

How is quarantine everyone?? Crazy times here in the world so I decided to do something fun on this nice Thursday! The 20 Questions Book Tag seemed to be perfect! I found this on Paper Fury and I thought it would be perfect for today!

1. HOW MANY BOOKS ARE TOO MANY FOR A SERIES?

I would say anything over five books is a little much for a book series. I love trilogies, I think three or four is perfect! Of course there are exceptions like Harry Potter, but unless you can keep my attention I probably won’t read the entire series.

2. HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT CLIFFHANGERS?

I have a love hate relationship with cliffhangers.I hate waiting for the next book, but it makes me love the book so much more! If it’s a good cliffhanger I will talk about this book for a long time and make everyone else read it!

3. HARDCOVER OR PAPERBACK?

I don’t really have a preference, but I do love looking at hardcovers with the sleeve off. I love seeing the design of the hard cover, but then again paperbacks are pretty easy to hold open and read so I’m happy either way.

4. FAVOURITE BOOK?

Umm…..can anyone pick just one? Here are a couple books/series I hold near and dear to my heart: Hunger Games, Red Queen, Percy Jackson and the Olympians Series and spin-off series, Radio Silence, Cruel Prince and so much more.

5. LEAST FAVOURITE BOOK?

I’m going to have to say Twilight for the simple fact I couldn’t get into the books or the movies.

6. LOVE TRIANGLES, YES OR NO?

Yes, unless it takes away from the story or the characters don’t work together.

7. THE MOST RECENT BOOK YOU COULDN’T FINISH?

Gracling. I liked the idea of the book but half way through I found myself skimming the pages and wanting it to be over.

8. A BOOK YOU’RE CURRENTLY READING?

Own Your Everyday by my girl Jordan Lee Dooley! She is in my home state and I love her podcast so much so why not read her book give her some love! She’s such a wise should and I highly recommend her podcast (The She Podcast) if that’s your thing!

9. LAST BOOK YOU RECOMMENDED TO SOMEONE?

The Hunger Games. I will always recommend this book, if you haven’t read it, are you living under a rock?

10. OLDEST BOOK YOU’VE READ BY PUBLICATION DATE?

East of Eden by John Steinbeck (1952) So much goes on in this book and I highly recommend it! You can read all about how i felt in my fist ever post by clicking here!

11. NEWEST BOOK YOU’VE READ BY PUBLICATION DATE?

Ruthless Gods, I was lucky enough to get an ARC of this book from NetGallery! I loved this book and I’m so excited for everyone to read it! You can see my reaction to this ARC by clicking here!

12. FAVOURITE AUTHOR?

Omg. Such a hard question! There are a lot of of auhtors who have written books that I love to reread, but I don’t think there is anything by Rick Riordan that I haven’t liked.

13. BUYING BOOKS OR BORROWING BOOKS?

Libraries have so many perks, like being able to read for free and saving space in your bookshelves, bbuutttttt I prefer to buy my books. #brokegirl I just loving having my books and reading them on my own time! Plus I can mark in them if I really like something and can reread them whenever!

14. A BOOK YOU DISLIKE THAT EVERYONE SEEMS TO LOVE?

Sorry I can’t get into the Cassandra Clare books. Will I give them another try? Maybe but it’s not high on my list.

15. BOOKMARKS OR DOG EARS?

I prefer bookmarks, but you do whatever makes your heart happy! There have been a few times I will dog ear the pages, but usually it’ll happen in books I’m not into.

16. A BOOK YOU CAN ALWAYS RE-READ?

17. CAN YOU READ WHILE LISTENING TO MUSIC?

I actually love listening to instrumental music while reading! I also really like using Ambient Mixer for background music as well!

18. ONE POV OR MULTIPLE?

I am a sucker for multiple POVs but sometimes there are wayy tooo manyyy. But also LOVE having one POV because it makes me feel like part of the book!

19. DO YOU READ A BOOK IN ONE SITTING OR OVER MULTIPLE DAYS?

As much as I hate it, it takes me a couple days because I feel like I need to do a lot of different things when I am home.
