Caraval | Series Review

Careries as a whole:

Rating: 4 out of 5.

I love this series so much! Stephanie Garber did such a fantastic job with the series! It made me laugh, it made me cry, and it confused me at times! The series had a lot of good and some bad, but all around, it was amazing! We go to an event of the lifetime with two sisters, and we pretty much experience Caraval with them! It’s so hard to talk about these books without giving away spoilers because everything plays off each other, but let’s try! Tella and Scarlet face life and death throughout these books, but is it all a show?

Caraval

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

In most series, the first book is the best, but in this series, it kind of lacks. We get told the events through Scarlett’s view, but she’s a little annoying. She has longed to go to Caraval, and they get there is sister is taken, and she must win the game to get her back. This book and the world is so much fun and kind of what we need during 2020! Read this book so that you can read the other two. The others make up for this book! A lot of people gave up on this series because of book one, but the other books literally made me cry and had me up all night!

Check out my first thoughts on Caraval!

Legendary

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Rarely does a sequel beat the first book, but here we are. We follow Tella as she and her sister travel with Legend and must go back into Caraval. Tella has to find out who Legend is, and if she fails, she will lose everything. It changes how you see everything from the first book. Tella is so much fun to follow, and we get to know the men more. This book is so much fun and keeps you on your toes!

Finale

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Ahhh, this book! This gave me all of the feelings; I cried, laughed, held my breath, screamed, and all the things! This book was so much fun and was pretty different from the other two, and I loved it! We go from being in the game to being a reality and life and death. We get so many new characters, so many secrets revealed, so many surprises, and we finally learn who Legend is, which really isn’t too much of a surprise, but I like it. I also felt kind of bad for the villain at the end of the book. I’d really like to have a book about him and what happens after the last book.

Have you read this series? Let me know your thoughts below! These books were so much fun to read and it’s so easy to spoil them!
