**Disclaimer: I was asked to do a review on this book, but all opions are 100% my own.**

When I was asked to do a review of We are All Warriors fighting our own battles by Gurpreet Kaur I was a little hesitant; 1. because it’s a book of quotes and poems (which I’ve never read before) and 2. because it is an ebook, and I’m just not a huge fan of ebooks. I went ahead and read it anyways because why not? I’m all about expanding the types of books I read! Much to my surprise, I enjoyed this book!
This book really hits home on a few different things in my life and the kinds of things that are going on in society right now. I’m not joking when I say I actually wrote down in a notebook and took a screenshot of a lot of the things in this book. Kaur has a way of captivating our feelings and just making us go whoa. If any of you listen to Sadie Rob’s podcast on great quotes, I would send ALOT of the material to her to talk about. It really does have some truly inspiring things in it, but at the same time, there were a few things that I just could not get into to. The book is an easy read and worth the money, go and grab yourself the book, read it, and come to me and let’s talk about it. I really would love to talk about how this book affected everyone!
I would give this an 8/10. It’s for all readers, and I truly think that anyone can get something out of it. It’s pretty short and packed full of great stuff! It wouldn’t be something I would take on a train or plane ride since it is short, (Maybe that’s how this genre of books are, I don’t know) but if I needed a good pick me up or just something that I needed to connect with, this book would be at the top of my list. I think I’ve read it twice now honestly, and I keep finding new stuff.
