End of the Year Book Tag| Blogmas Day 7

How is 2019 already coming to an end?? Seriously this year has flown by! I guess that’s what happens when you have your nose in a book! I saw this book tag on Foxes and Fairy Tales:Book Blog and I love it! This is such a fun idea for the end of the year!

Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?

I tend to finish books pretty quickly, so there’s not just one book that I want to finish before the end of the year, but I do have a pile that I would like to finish before the end of the year.

Do you have an autumnal book to transition into the end of the year?

I don’t have a single book that I like to transition into the new year with, but I do like to finish a book right before we enter into the new year. There’s just something about starting a new book on the first day of a new year that makes my heart happy!

Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?

I’m not waiting for a book to be released in December, but I have a handful that I’m stoked about that are coming out in 2020, I’m looking at you The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.

What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?

Oh gosh, I have a few. One of my top three is Let It Snow by John Green, Maureen Johnson, and Lauren Myrhcle. This makes it to the top three because I have heard good things about the book, and it sounds like it will be a good winter read! Another in my top three is Winterwood by Shea Ernshaw. Again, this sounds like it will be a good winter book, but it also is the newest Owlcrate book, and I like to keep with my Owlcrate books! The last book in my top three is Lady Smoke by Laura Sebastian. I really loved Ash Princess, and I’m so excited to read what happens next! I also really want to read this book before the third book comes out in February!

Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favourite book of the year?

For sure! I have about five books in my 2019 TBR list and they all seem really good books!!

Have you already started making reading plans for 2020?

I have books I know I will buy, my TBR list, and the books from Owlcrate that I am planning on reading. As for when I’ll get to each of those books, I don’t have a plan. I’ll just pick up whichever book I feel drawn to!

I’m tagging:

Everyone! This is so much fun so much fun and it’s a great way to look towards the end of the year!
